Central University of Punjab Awarded for Group-Level Winner in 17th National Youth Parliament Competition Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Government of India, honours CU Punjab students at the Prize Distribution Ceremony Bathinda 9 July ( PDL ) : In a moment of great pride, the Central University of Punjab (CU Punjab) has emerged as the Group-Level Winner (Group VIII) in the 17th National Youth Parliament Competition (NYP) 2024–25 for Universities and Colleges. The University team was felicitated by the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Government of India, during the Prize Distribution Ceremony held at the GMC Balayogi Auditorium, Parliament Library Building, Parliament House Complex, New Delhi, on 7 July 2026. ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ 9 ਜੁਲਾਈ ( ਰਣਜੀਤ ਧਾਲੀਵਾਲ ) : ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਹਿਊਮਨ ਰਾਈਟਸ ਗਲੋਬਲ, ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਦੀ ਜਨਰਲ ਬਾਡੀ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਐਸ.ਏ. ਖਾਨ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਗੀ ਹੇਠ ਹੋਈ। ਨਵੇਂ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੁਆਇਨਿੰਗ ਲੈਟਰ ਅਤੇ ਆਈਡੀ ਕਾਰਡ ਭੇਟ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ, ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਨਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਸਹੁੰ ਚੁਕਾਈ ਗਈ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਅਹੁਦੇਦਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਨਿਯੁਕਤੀ ਵੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਰੀਸ਼ ਭਾਰਦਵਾਜ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਈਸ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ, ਨਵਤੇਜ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੰਧੂ ਨੂੰ ਸਟੇਟ ਕੋਆਰਡੀਨੇਟਰ, ਕੁਲਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਈਸ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ, ਕਰਨੈਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਾਣਾ ਨੂੰ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਸਲਾਹਕਾਰ, ਗੁਰਮੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਕਾਕਾ ਨੂੰ ਆਬਜ਼ਰਵਰ, ਦਿਨੇਸ਼ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਸੈਕਟਰੀ, ਰਣਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਹਾਰਨ, ਰਤੂਲ ਜੈਨ ਅਤੇ ਗੌਰਵ ਸਿੰਘ ਗਰੇਵਾਲ ਨੂੰ ਜੁਆਇੰਟ ਸੈਕਟਰੀ, ਅਤੁਲ ਰਾਏ ਨਰਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਜਥੇਬੰਦਕ ਜੁਆਇੰਟ ਸੈਕਟਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਅਜੈ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਸੈਕਟਰੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਨੇ ਵਾਈਸ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਮਾਨਵ ਬੇਦੀ, ਜਨਰਲ ਜੁਆਇੰਟ ਸੈਕਟਰੀ ਜ਼ੀਸ਼ਾਨ ਉਲ ਹੱਕ, ਸਟੇਟ ਕੋਆਰਡੀਨੇਟਰ ਰਾਕੇਸ਼ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ, ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਉਪ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮਨਮੋਹਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਕੋਹਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਅਹੁਦੇਦਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਵਿਸਥਾਰਪੂਰਵਕ ਚਰਚਾ ਕੀਤੀ।
