Himachal Pradesh Moving Towards a New Era of Development and Public Welfare Under Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu : G.L. Sharma

Chandigarh 1 July ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Himachal Pradesh Congress Kisan Cell spokesperson G.L. Sharma said in a statement issued here that under the leadership of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, the Himachal Pradesh Government has undertaken several historic and people-centric initiatives in the fields of social welfare, education, economic reforms, agriculture, animal husbandry, green energy, and good governance.He said the government has launched a number of welfare schemes for the weaker and underprivileged sections of society and has taken significant steps to strengthen the state's education system. Continuous efforts are being made to provide better educational opportunities for the youth and to reinforce government educational institutions.

G.L. Sharma further stated that the state government has placed special emphasis on economic reforms and revenue generation. Reforms in the excise policy have not only increased revenue collection but have also promoted greater transparency. He added that new tourism policies have been implemented to boost the tourism sector, resulting in increased employment opportunities and strengthening the state's economy.He said the government has taken several important decisions aimed at enhancing the income of farmers and livestock rearers. Various schemes are being implemented to promote agriculture and animal husbandry, benefiting thousands of families across the state.

G.L. Sharma also said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, the government is working rapidly towards making Himachal Pradesh a "Green Energy State." Several initiatives have been launched to promote renewable energy, environmental conservation, and sustainable development, paving the way for a cleaner and greener future for the state.He further stated that the state government remains committed to providing transparent, accountable, and people-oriented governance while ensuring that the benefits of development and welfare schemes reach the last person in society. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, Himachal Pradesh is setting new benchmarks in development, prosperity, and social justice.
