Long-standing demand of Wave Estate residents fulfilled; *Bhoomi Pujan* for temple construction completed
S.A.S.Nagar 11 July ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The sacred *Bhoomi Pujan* (ground-breaking ceremony) for the temple proposed by the Sanatan Dharma Sabha at Wave Estate was successfully conducted today with great reverence, accompanied by Vedic chanting and traditional religious rituals. Hardev Singh Ubbha, State Press Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party (Punjab), and Gurpreet Kaur Ubbha, Councilor (MC) of Ward No. 41, graced the occasion with their presence and extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all Wave Estate residents and the Sanatan Dharma Sabha.
Speaking on the occasion, Hardev Singh Ubbha and Councilor Gurpreet Kaur Ubbha noted that the residents of Wave Estate had long desired the construction of a magnificent temple in the area. Today’s *Bhoomi Pujan* marks a historic and auspicious beginning towards realizing this dream. They remarked that this event signifies not merely the start of temple construction but also a symbol of social, cultural, and spiritual unity. They emphasized that temples serve as centers of faith, service, values, and cultural heritage. Such religious sites play a vital role in strengthening mutual brotherhood, harmony, and human values within society.
They prayed to the Almighty for the speedy completion of the temple's construction and expressed the hope that this sacred abode would become a prominent center for faith, service, and religious activities for the people of Wave Estate and the surrounding areas.
Office bearers of the Sanatan Dharma Sabha, social workers, and a large number of Wave Estate residents were present on the occasion.
