MY Bharat District Advisory Committee Reviews Measures to Strengthen Youth Engagement in Chandigarh
Chandigarh 9 July ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The District Advisory Committee (MYB-DAC) meeting of MY Bharat, Chandigarh, was held today under the chairmanship of the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (South), Chandigarh, who chaired the meeting as the nominee of the Deputy Commissioner, Chandigarh. The meeting reviewed the progress of MY Bharat initiatives Chandigarh and discussed measures to further strengthen youth participation through educational institutions. Representatives from various government departments and educational institutions participated in the deliberations.
It has been discussed to direct all educational institutions to ensure the registration of their students on the MY Bharat portal. The institutions will also be requested to appoint a Nodal Officer and Campus Ambassadors to facilitate youth engagement, promote volunteerism, and ensure effective implementation of MY Bharat activities at the institutional level.
The Committee emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts among stakeholders to maximize youth participation in nation-building initiatives and experiential learning opportunities available through the MY Bharat platform. The meeting concluded with a commitment from all concerned departments and institutions to work collectively towards strengthening the MY Bharat ecosystem in Chandigarh and encouraging greater participation of young people in community development and volunteer-driven initiatives.
