Central University of Punjab Awarded for Group-Level Winner in 17th National Youth Parliament Competition Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Government of India, honours CU Punjab students at the Prize Distribution Ceremony Bathinda 9 July ( PDL ) : In a moment of great pride, the Central University of Punjab (CU Punjab) has emerged as the Group-Level Winner (Group VIII) in the 17th National Youth Parliament Competition (NYP) 2024–25 for Universities and Colleges. The University team was felicitated by the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Government of India, during the Prize Distribution Ceremony held at the GMC Balayogi Auditorium, Parliament Library Building, Parliament House Complex, New Delhi, on 7 July 2026. New office bearers appointed for National Human Rights Global, Chandigarh; new members also added
Chandigarh 9 July ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The General Body Meeting of National Human Rights Global, Chandigarh, was chaired by President S.A. Khan. New members were inducted, presented with joining letters and ID cards, and sworn in to work for social justice.
New office bearers were also appointed on the occasion, including Harish Bhardwaj as Vice Chairman, Navtej Singh Sandhu as State Coordinator, Kulwant Singh as Vice President, Karnail Singh Rana as Media Advisor, Gurmeet Singh Kaka as Observer, Dinesh Kumar as Secretary, Randeep Singh Saharan, Ratul Jain, and Gaurav Singh Grewal as Joint Secretaries, Atul Rai Narwah as Organizational Joint Secretary, and Ajay Kumar as Media Secretary. The President also held detailed discussions with Vice Chairman Manav Bedi, General Joint Secretary Zeeshan Ul Haq, State Coordinator Rakesh Sharma, Senior Vice President Manmohan Singh Kohli, and other office bearers about upcoming programs.
