One-Day State Level Mega Training for Aadhaar Operators and Supervisors at Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, Punjab
Ludhiana 10 July ( PDL ) : The UIDAI Regional Office, Chandigarh, organized a One-Day State Level Mega Training for Aadhaar Operators and Supervisors at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana, Punjab. A total of 119 participants from various departments across Punjab, including DGGIT Punjab (PSeGS), the School Education Department, the Department of Women and Child Development, and the Department of Posts, attended the training programme. The session covered key aspects of the Aadhaar ecosystem, operational procedures, and the latest guidelines issued by UIDAI. The training was aimed at enhancing the knowledge and capabilities of Aadhaar operators to ensure efficient service delivery to residents.
Sumit Bhatnagar, Trainer, UIDAI, and Ankush Thakur, Assistant Manager – Punjab, UIDAI, emphasized the importance of adopting the Universal Client (UC) and ensuring strict compliance with UIDAI guidelines and standard operating procedures to minimize operational errors. They also highlighted the importance of encouraging residents to update their Aadhaar documents if they have not updated them in the last ten years. Participants were further sensitized on soft skills, UIDAI's vision and mission, and the importance of maintaining high standards of professionalism and work ethics.
During the interactive session, Madhur Bansal, Project Manager, UIDAI, and Ankush Thakur addressed participants' queries and provided detailed clarifications on the Aadhaar enrolment and update ecosystem. They also demonstrated the latest Universal Client (UC) module and conducted a live demonstration of the Universal Client, enabling participants to gain practical exposure to its features and functionalities for efficient Aadhaar enrolment and update operations. UIDAI regularly conducts such capacity-building programmes to strengthen the Aadhaar ecosystem, enhance the skills of ecosystem partners, and ensure the delivery of secure, efficient, and citizen-centric Aadhaar services. The training concluded with an interactive discussion and a comprehensive overview of Aadhaar principles, operational best practices, and the evolving Aadhaar ecosystem.
