SBI Organised A Blood Donation Camp on 71st Foundation Day
Panchkula 1 July ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : To mark its 71st Foundation Day, the State Bank of India (SBI) organised a voluntary blood donation camp in association with the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGI), Chandigarh at SBI A.O sector 5 Panchkula. SBI officials, employees, customers and the public participated in big numbers to donate for this noble cause.
Vivek Kumar DGM , SBI , Panchkula module inaugurated the camp. A PGI medical team supervised the blood collection process and ensured all safety protocols were followed. Vivek Kumar said the initiative reflects banks commitment to social responsibility and community welfare. He furher added that A Single Blood donation can save multiple lives reflecting the noble nature of the cause. Rohit Sharma , AGM , RBO - I , was also present on the occasion. In view of Doctor's Day all the doctors present were also felicitated by our respected DGM sir & SBI officer's association team. Seventy one units of blood were collected on this occasion.
