Tata Motors Reintroduces Sierra.ev in Chandigarh, Prices Start at ₹18.79 Lakh
Chandigarh 20 July ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Berkeley Tata Motors on Sunday unveiled the all-new Tata Sierra.ev at its Phase II showroom in Chandigarh, bringing back one of India's most iconic SUV nameplates in an all-electric avatar. The electric SUV has been launched at a starting price of ₹18.79 lakh, with bookings now open. Test drives will begin as per product availability.
The launch event was attended by Sunil Chauhan, Zonal Business Head, Tata Motors; Ranjeev Dahuja, Managing Director, Berkeley Group of Companies; Sandeep Maan, Regional Manager, Tata Motors; Varun Kumar, Territory Sales Manager, Tata Motors; and Samir Thakur, Vice President, Berkeley Tata Motors, along with senior company officials, customers, media representatives and finance partners.
Speaking on the occasion, Ranjeev Dahuja said the Sierra is more than just a new vehicle, calling it the return of an iconic brand that has been reimagined for the future of mobility. He said Berkeley Tata Motors remains committed to delivering world-class electric mobility through superior sales, service and ownership experience. Built on Tata Motors' Gen-2 EV architecture, the new Sierra.ev retains the signature Sierra silhouette and wraparound rear glass while featuring a futuristic design. The company claims the SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in under 5.8 seconds and offers a long-range battery with fast-charging capability.
The vehicle comes equipped with a panoramic glass roof, connected car technology, 12 JBL Dolby audio speakers, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), and a premium cabin made using sustainable materials. Tata Motors also claims the Sierra.ev has been engineered to achieve a 5-star safety rating. The all-new Tata Sierra.ev is now on display at Berkeley Tata Motors showrooms in Chandigarh, with bookings open for customers across the region.
