Free Eye Check-up Camp at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan 200 People Benefited Chandigarh/Barnala 29 July ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Embodying the spirit of humanitarian service, a free eye check-up and consultation camp was organized at the Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan on K.C. Road, Barnala, in collaboration with the Civil Hospital, Barnala. Two hundred people availed themselves of the health services by getting their eyes examined at the camp. Ophthalmologist Dr. Anmoldeep Kaur and her team conducted detailed examinations of patients and provided modern medical consultations. Free medicines were provided to patients as needed, while beneficiaries with poor vision received free spectacles. Patients requiring surgery were referred to the Civil Hospital, Barnala, for further treatment. Zirakpur 15 July ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Tata Motors’ much-awaited Tata Sierra Electric SUV was officially launched at Vision Tata, Zirakpur, on Friday. The vehicle was unveiled by Derabassi MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa, while noted entrepreneur MK Bhatia, Chairman of Mits Group, who recently made headlines for gifting cars to his employees, attended the event as the Guest of Honour. The launch event witnessed the presence of automobile enthusiasts, customers, and senior Tata Motors officials. During the ceremony, the company showcased the SUV’s futuristic design, cutting-edge technology, and premium features.
Manish Chauhan, General Manager, Vision Tata, said the new Tata Sierra EV has been introduced at an introductory ex-showroom price of ₹18.79 lakh. Positioned between the Tata Curvv EV and Tata Harrier EV, the Sierra EV combines modern styling, strong performance, and advanced technology to cater to premium electric SUV buyers. He said the Tata Sierra EV offers a driving range of up to 665 km on a single full charge. The SUV comes equipped with an All-Wheel Drive (AWD) option, a triple-screen cockpit, Level-2 ADAS, 360-degree camera, panoramic sunroof, and several other premium features, making it a feature-rich family electric SUV.In the rapidly growing EV segment, the Tata Sierra EV will compete with models such as the Mahindra BE 6, Hyundai Creta Electric, MG ZS EV, Maruti e-Vitara, Toyota eBella, and VinFast VF6. Speaking on the occasion, the guests highlighted that electric mobility is the future of transportation and said long-range electric vehicles powered by advanced technology will play a significant role in promoting sustainable and environmentally friendly mobility in India.
