S.A.S.Nagar 23 July ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The SCBC Maha Panchayat Punjab had recently exposed a big racket of selling a girl at a protest on the lights of Mohali Phase 7. This was widely discussed in Punjab and various channels had brought this news to the people. On which the Chairperson of the Women's Commission Punjab, Madam Raj Lali Gill, taking suo moto, had directed the SSP Mohali to report by July 24. Regarding this matter, today Morcha President Kumbha, along with the victim girl and the mother of the missing girl, met the Chairperson of the Women's Commission along with the Morcha leaders and told them the entire situation. Madam Raj Lali Gill listened to the whole matter very carefully and assured the girl Anjali of taking immediate action and assured the mother of the missing girl Varsha to reunite her with her daughter as soon as possible.
Talking to the press, Morcha President Balwinder Kumbhra said that Mandeep Kaur of Ratta Khera village in Ferozepur district and her associates Alfa, Happy, Arsh and Jasvir Kaur lured this girl named Anjali and took her with them by promising her to earn more money by working in films. Her family has brought back their daughter with great difficulty by paying one and a half lakh rupees, and along with her, her other friend Varsha is still missing, but a few days ago, she returned and called the other girl and told her that she was in Rajasthan. All our Morcha leaders have raised this matter and approached the Women's Commission. Honorable Madam Raj Lali Gill has asked SSP Mohali for a report by July 24th and we hope that these poor families will definitely get justice.
