The slip road leading to Sector-32 hospital has become a cause of accidents, the administration should repair it soon.

Chandigarh 2 July ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The poor condition of the slip road from Sector-32 Chowk towards GMCH-32 Hospital has become a cause of serious trouble for the general public, patients, their relatives and the hospital staff. Some time ago, this road was excavated to lay a pipeline, but the road wasn't properly repaired after the work was completed. As a result, yesterday's rain left the entire road covered in mud and potholes. The waterlogged road caused significant difficulties for commuters.

The situation has worsened to the point where numerous motorcyclists and Activa riders have slipped and fallen on the road, further increasing the risk of accidents. This route is used daily by thousands of patients, their attendants, ambulances, and hospital staff. If the road isn't repaired promptly, a major accident cannot be ruled out. Social worker Arvind Singh has demanded from the concerned department and Chandigarh administration that in view of public interest, this slip road should be immediately repaired on war footing, so that patients, common citizens and hospital staff can get the facility of safe and smooth movement.
