Union Minister Chirag Paswan accepts PHDCCI invitation to inaugurate CHEFEX INDIA 2026
Chandigarh 1 July ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : On the initiative of Himani Arora, Chairperson of PHDCCI’s Regional Fashion TexTech Forum, Union Minister for Food Processing Industries Chirag Paswan has accepted the invitation to be the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony of CHEFEX INDIA 2026, to be held in Chandigarh in September 2026. Himani Arora, along with PHDCCI Deputy Secretary General Naveen Seth, met the Union Minister in New Delhi and formally invited him to the event.
During the meeting, she described CHEFEX INDIA 2026 as a leading platform for India’s food processing, hospitality, innovation and entrepreneurship sectors, and stressed the need for stronger collaboration between industry and government. She also sought the ministry’s support for the successful conduct of the event. At the meeting, Naveen Seth briefed the minister on PHDCCI’s efforts to promote industrial growth and said that CHEFEX INDIA 2026 is expected to witness wide participation from the industry across the country.
Union Minister Chirag Paswan gladly accepted the invitation and agreed to attend the event as chief guest. He also assured that the request for financial assistance for the event would be considered positively. PHDCCI expressed its gratitude to the Union Minister for his support and encouragement, and said it believes that under his guidance, CHEFEX INDIA 2026 will emerge as an important national event for the country’s food processing and hospitality sectors.
