Colourful Cultural Performances Win Applause; Students Present Poems and Share Stories of India’s Freedom Struggle
S.A.S.Nagar 16 August ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervour at Star Public School, Sector 69, Mohali. A special programme was organised on the occasion, during which students presented a colourful cultural programme and won appreciation from everyone present. The students presented patriotic poems and shared information about the country's great freedom fighters and the struggle through which India achieved independence. Through their performances and presentations, the children highlighted the sacrifices and struggles made by the freedom fighters for the country's freedom. On the occasion, School Director K.K. Chaudhary and Principal Veena Chaudhary apprised the students about the significance of Independence Day.
They encouraged the children to draw inspiration from the lives and sacrifices of the great freedom fighters and to contribute towards strengthening the unity and integrity of the nation. Students who performed exceptionally well in various activities and presentations were specially honoured during the programme. The school management also arranged refreshments and sweets for the students, which they enjoyed enthusiastically. The entire school campus was filled with patriotic spirit throughout the programme.
