Chandigarh 16 August ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The Market Welfare Association of Sector 24 celebrated the 80th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor. A large number of people, including association office-bearers, shopkeepers, and local residents, participated in the event. Chandigarh Municipal Corporation Mayor Saurabh Joshi attended the program as the chief guest and hoisted the national flag. On this occasion, Mayor Saurabh Joshi, along with shopkeepers, locals, and association members, saluted the national flag and pledged to uphold the country's unity and integrity.
Mayor Saurabh Joshi extended Independence Day greetings to everyone present. He remarked that Independence Day is a festival for every citizen of the country and should be celebrated with full enthusiasm and pride.
