PSSF State Level Meeting Planned to Carry Out Struggles
The National Delhi Rally on December 12 will be Historic : Subhash Lamba
Chandigarh 24 August ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : A state level meeting of the Punjab Subordinate Services Federation (PSSF), the struggling organization of the state employees, was held under the chairmanship of the organization's state president Satish Rana, in which the Federal Council leaders participated. All India State Government Employees Federation National President Subhash Lamba arrived specially to address the meeting. While conducting the proceedings of the meeting, PSSF State General Secretary and All India National Vice President Tirath Singh Bassi said that the program of state meetings was announced to implement the struggles announced by All India, under which the PSSF meeting has been held. Addressing this meeting, National President Sathi Lamba informed about the next struggles and said that All India State Government Employees Federation is organizing a massive countrywide rally in Delhi on December 12 against the employee-killing policies of the Central Government in which the next struggles will be announced.
He said that the Modi government of the Center and the governments of the states are implementing anti-employee and anti-pensioner policies, by abolishing government institutions, corporates are being given freedom to loot the country. He said that All India is demanding from the government that the downsizing of government departments should be stopped, the services of raw employees should be regularized, the old pension should be restored, the house rent allowance should be increased in proportion to inflation. Cashless health scheme should be implemented, installments of dearness allowance should be paid, vacant posts should be filled, honorarium/incentive workers and DC should be given. Rates should be implemented.
He appealed to the employees of Punjab to attend the Delhi rally on December 12 in large numbers. State President Satish Rana thanked them and assured that like the previous struggles, PSSF will participate fully on December 12. He said that preparations for December 12 will be made by organizing block-level conventions in September and district-level conventions in October and November under the All India programs of the employees of the state. He also appealed to them to take a collective leave on August 27 and participate in the actions. Leaders like comrades Karamjit Singh Bihla, Gurbinder Singh Saskaur, Inderjit Virdi, Kuldeep Purowal, Gurdev Singh Sidhu, Gurpreet Singh Makimpur, Anil Kumar, Sarashan Cheema, Bimala Rani, Kuldeep Durka, Gurbinder Singh Khamanon, Surkeet Mohali, Pushpinder Pinky, Manjit Bajwa, Gurpreet Singh Chohka, Hazara Singh Cheema, Ram Krishna Dhunkia etc. were also present in this meeting.
