'The Great Chandigarh Fest' to be held in Sector-34; carnival runs from August 20 to September 20
The main attraction of the fest will be a special mixer swing for "Gen Z"
Chandigarh 27 August ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Keeping in mind the entertainment and excitement of the city's residents, "The Great Chandigarh Fest" is being organized by Samara Groups at the Exhibition Ground, Sector 34, Chandigarh. This grand carnival will run from August 20th to September 20th. A grand entrance designed with the theme of Baahubali will also attract visitors. Upon entering, visitors will be able to enjoy fun, entertainment, food, and shopping.
Sanjeev Aggarwal, Rajinder Singh, and Manoj Arora, partners of the organizing Samara Group, stated that special arrangements have been made for fun, entertainment, and various exciting swings for the people during this month-long festival. From children to youth and families, there will be a variety of entertainment options available. He added that in addition to the grand 20'x250' entrance gate, another major attraction of the fest will be the "Mixer Jhula" (a first in Chandigarh), which will offer a unique experience for adventure lovers. Furthermore, various recreational activities and exciting swings will be a major draw at the carnival. The fest features rides for all age groups, notably the Giant Wheel, Columbus Jhula, Break Dance, Dragon Wheel, and Cross. Children's attractions include airplanes, trains, bungee trampolines, Nano Cars, Dhoom Cars, horse rides, and Mickey Mouse swings. Visitors will find 50 food court stalls, including clothing, artificial jewelry, book stalls, crockery, furniture, and carpets. Visitors will also enjoy Amritsari cuisine, especially Amritsari Kulcha.
A haunted house has been created for adventure enthusiasts. There will also be live stage performances, captivating the audience with their songs and dances. The stage performances will include public participation. Winners in dance, singing, push-ups, and tongue twisters will receive free swing passes as prizes. Selfie stands will also be a center of attraction, allowing visitors to enjoy selfies and photos.He informed that a special fashion show for children has been organized on September 4th to commemorate Janmashtami.The entry ticket for the fest is 50 rupees. Complete security arrangements, including firefighting, have been made at the fest. Two exit gates have been provided in case of an emergency. According to the organizers, the aim of 'The Great Chandigarh Fest' is to provide the city's residents with a unique experience of entertainment, adventure, and family fun all under one roof.
