The purpose of the meeting was to convey the residents' security concerns, fears, and feelings of insecurity to the police officials and to discuss potential security threats in the sector. Necessary steps to further strengthen security in the area and other important issues, including police patrols, were also discussed. Local councilor Anoop Gupta also attended the meeting and presented the residents' concerns and suggestions to the police officers.
An important feature of the meeting was that experts from the Cyber Crime Cell raised awareness among attendees, especially senior citizens, about online security. They provided information on how to avoid cyber fraud, fake calls, online fraud, and other cyber crimes, and also explained the necessary steps to take in the event of a cyber crime. The organizers appealed to the residents to seriously follow the suggestions and guidelines provided by the police officers regarding security and vigilance.
