Chandigarh 15 September ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Preparations are in full swing to make this year's 5th Ramlila performance and Dussehra Festival—organized by the Divya Ramayan Yuva Kala Manch and scheduled for October 10 to October 20—even grander, more captivating, and better organized than ever before. It commenced today, September 15, at the Sabzi Mandi Ground with the hoisting of the sacred flag of Lord Hanuman. Divya Ramayan Yuva Kala Manch, which has been successfully organizing the Ramlila in Chandigarh for the past four years, has prepared to present this year's event as a magnificent blend of devotion, culture, art, and modern technology.
This year, efforts are being made to make the staging of the Ramlila even more vibrant through the use of large LED screens, state-of-the-art sound and lighting, attractive stage décor, magnificent costumes, and impressive visual presentations. Additionally, special performances by renowned *bhajan* singers will be a major attraction for the devotees of Lord Ram. Grand and massive effigies of Ravana are also being prepared for this year's Dussehra celebrations. The head of the forum, Chirag Aggarwal said, “The love and trust with which the residents of Chandigarh and devotees of Lord Ram have supported us over the past four years—that very enthusiasm has inspired us to do something even bigger this year.”
Our endeavor is to ensure that the 5th Ramlila is not merely a theatrical performance, but a grand religious and cultural event that the entire family can watch with pride and joy. "This year, we are fully committed to delivering an experience better than all previous events." The General Secretary of the forum said, Our objective is not merely to stage the story of Lord Shri Ram, but also to connect the youth with Indian culture, values, and social responsibility. "We want the audience, upon returning from watching the Ramlila, to carry with them not only a sense of devotion but also the inspiration to adopt Shri Ram's ideals in their own lives."
