RWA Sector 18 held a meeting with police officials regarding security in Sector 18 Chandigarh 19 September ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : An important meeting was held at the Sector 18 Community Center on Saturday, September 19th, to discuss the security situation in the area and the concerns of residents. DSP-East P Abhinandan and Sector 19 Police Station in-charge Sarita Roy were special guests at the meeting. Organized under the auspices of RWA Sector 18 official Harman Mehta, the event was attended by Dr. Rajneesh Sharma, President of RWA Sector 18 A and B, and officials Sandhya Dharam, Sandhya Dham, and Harmel Singh, President of RWA Sector 18 D, and Harinder Bhatti, along with area councilors Anoop Gupta and Sumita Kohli, among others. Chandigarh/Jalandhar 29 April ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Punjab Congress president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring today condemned the registration of an FIR against the Admapur MLA Sukhwinder Singh Kotli by the Jalandhar Police. Warring said in a statement, “that the FIR registered against MLA from Adampur Sukhwinder Singh Kotli is out of vendetta is self evident”. He said, if the Aam Aadmi Party thinks that it can intimidate the Congressmen like that, it is badly mistaken. “Let it be clear to all the officials, whether from the police or administration, please don’t breach your brief. Don’t act as collaborators of the AAP in persecution of the Congressmen”, he cautioned them, while warning, “the Congress is resolved to hold every official to account for all the sins of omission and commission”. As regards Kotli, he added, the entire Congress party stands with him. “More courage to our brave soldier, as Rahul Gandhi describes such leaders of the party”, he added.
