Chandigarh 30 September ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Today Chandigarh INTUC program was organized at Jat Bhawan Sector 27 Chandigarh. This program was organized by CTU Workers Union in which Chandigarh INTUC President Naseeb Jakhar participated as the chief guest. Naseeb Jakhar said that the CTU department is being privatized, the employees protest from time to time but no hearing is taking place, temporary employees are not being made permanent, equal pay for equal work is not being given, the number of buses in the CTU fleet is not being increased. While welcoming the new members in the organization, Jakhar said that now the organization has become stronger and now we all will fight together for our demands.
On this occasion, hundreds of people from CTU Worker Union expressed their faith in INTUC organization and joined INTUC. Party President Dharmendra Singh Rahi and President Jogendra Singh said that CTU is being privatized. The employees are being ignored. Now is the time to unite and fight. Now all of us colleagues have decided that the next election will be fought under the banner of CTU Worker Union INTUC. INTUC President Naseeb Jakhar has given permission for this proposal. Speaking, INTUC Senior Vice President Charanjit Singh Dhinsa, Devendra Pradhan, INTUC spokesperson Sahil Dubey welcomed all the colleagues to the organization and said that all the colleagues will fight shoulder to shoulder for the employee interests and demands of CTU.
