The Centre and Panjab Govt. are anti-democratic, dictatorial, communal, and puppet governments of corporate houses : Qaumi Insaaf Morcha
Chandigarh 29 September ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Religious figures, leaders of farmers' organizations, sectarians, political organizations, labor organizations, public organizations, intellectuals, journalists, artists, and former judges attended an important meeting organized by the Qaumi Insaaf Morcha at Kisan Bhawan, sector 35 in Chandigarh today. Important decisions were taken at this impressive meeting. The general consensus at the meeting was that the Central Government and the Bhagwant Singh Mann Government in Punjab are anti-democratic, dictatorial, communal, and puppet governments of corporate houses. The central and Punjab governments are disregarding constitutional values and public opinion. Bhagwant Mann, who has lost the reins of his government and returned from jail for corruption, is challenging the honor and dignity of Punjab, handing it over to Delhi politicians, only to plunder Punjab economically. Both governments are leading the country's future down a dark path. The Mann Government is unwilling to listen to the peaceful protests that have been ongoing on the Chandigarh borders for three years. The Shambhu-Khanauri Kisan Morcha described the Government's authoritarian and oppressive approach, looting farmers' trolleys and other belongings, as a deterioration of political and constitutional values. Jathedars Jagtar Singh Hawara, Balwant Singh Rajoana, Bhai Paramjit Singh Bheora, Jagtar Singh Tara, and Davinderpal Singh Bhullar, who have completed their sentences, have been made illegal prisoners. Many Singhs, including elected representative Bhai Amritpal Singh, have been sent to the Kala Pani as sent by the British for minor incidents. The meeting also realized that the martyrdom of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji was not for Sikhs but for human rights, a unique history in world history. Therefore, today's meeting, drawing guidance and inspiration from the martyrdom of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji, demanded the release of those imprisoned for various political protests across the country. The ongoing Ladakh mass movement was supported and the arrest of its leader, Sonam Wangchuk, was criticized. The meeting condemned fake police encounters in Punjab and across the country. It was decided that a massive Justice March would be held on November 18th towards Gurudwara Sheesh Ganj, Delhi, the martyrdom site of Shri Teg Bahadur Sahib Ji. A joint committee of all religious, farmer, labor, and public organizations would be formed to organize and prepare for the march, and all organizations were requested to submit the names of two representatives by October 5th. The joint coordination committee would meet on October 11th. Preparatory meetings would be held in all districts on October 25th. In this context, every home, every individual, and all Gurudwaras were requested to observe Ardaas Day on November 1st, Punjab Day, both nationally and internationally. The meeting also decided that while the Morcha has three demands: the release of imprisoned Sikhs, punishment for those responsible for desecration of the Sri Guru Granth Sahib and all religions, and punishment for the perpetrators of the Behbal Kalan Kotkapura firing incident, Punjab seeks cooperation with Pakistan, not war. Pakistan will continue to demand the immediate opening of the corridor for religious pilgrimage and open trade, and the implementation of the Minimum Support Price (MSP) guarantee on crops. The meeting was chaired by Patron Bapu Gurcharan Singh, Justice Ranjit Singh, Baba Sewa Singh Rampur Kheda Wale, farmer leader Dr. Darshanpal, Balwinder Singh Lok Adhikar Lehar, farmer leader Nirbhay Singh Dhudike, Gurdeep Singh Bathinda, Boota Singh Ransingh, Baba Boota Singh SGPC member, Baba Sukhdev Singh Nanaksar, Baba Amarjit Singh Maryada, Harpal Singh Cheema, and Gurjant Singh Kattu.
