ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ 27 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ ( ਰਣਜੀਤ ਧਾਲੀਵਾਲ ) : 74 ਸਾਲਾ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਨਿਵਾਸੀ, ਜੋ ਲੰਬੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਵ੍ਹੀਲਚੇਅਰ 'ਤੇ ਸੀ, ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੈਲਬੀ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ, ਮੋਹਾਲੀ ਵਿਖੇ ਰੋਬੋਟਿਕ ਗੋਡੇ ਬਦਲਣ ਦੀ ਸਰਜਰੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਨਵਾਂ ਜੀਵਨ ਮਿਲਿਆ । ਮਰੀਜ਼ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੋਡੇ ਬਦਲਣ ਦੀ ਸਰਜਰੀ ਲਈ ਲੰਬੇ ਇੰਤਜ਼ਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸ਼ੈਲਬੀ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ, ਮੋਹਾਲੀ ਪਹੁੰਚਿਆ। ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ - ਆਰਥੋ , ਸ਼ੈਲਬੀ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਮੋਹਾਲੀ, ਡਾ. ਪ੍ਰਦੀਪ ਅਗਰਵਾਲ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਮਰੀਜ਼ ਦੇ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਗੋਡਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਨੁਕਸ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਕਾਰ ਸਨ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਕੇਸ ਗੁੰਝਲਦਾਰ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਸਰਜੀਕਲ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਸੀ।
ਡਾ. ਅਗਰਵਾਲ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮਰੀਜ਼ ਨੇ ਰੋਬੋਟਿਕ ਗੋਡੇ ਬਦਲਣ ਦੀ ਸਰਜਰੀ ਦੇ 24 ਘੰਟਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ-ਅੰਦਰ ਸਹਾਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਹੋਣ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਜਨਕ ਸੁਧਾਰ ਦਿਖਾਇਆ। ਡਾ. ਅਗਰਵਾਲ ਨੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਰੋਬੋਟਿਕ-ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਗੋਡੇ ਬਦਲਣ ਦੀ ਸਰਜਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਭਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਅਪਣਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਹ ਸਰਜੀਕਲ ਸ਼ੁੱਧਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਗੁੰਝਲਦਾਰ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਿਹਤਰ ਅਲਾਈਨਮੈਂਟ ਦੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਸਲਾਹਕਾਰ-ਆਰਥੋ, ਡਾ ਅਕਸ਼ਤ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਵਾਸਤਵ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ਖਾਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਵਿਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਨਤ ਗਠੀਏ ਵਾਲੇ ਮਰੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਲਈ ਰੋਬੋਟਿਕ ਗੋਡੇ ਬਦਲਣ ਦੀ ਸਰਜਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਤਰੱਕੀ ਹੈ।
