Chandigarh 11 June ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Two talented students from Chandigarh brought laurels to the city with their outstanding performances at the 71st All India Dance and Drama Competition held in Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh. The prestigious competition, organized by the All India Artists Association, featured artists and students from across the country showcasing their talents. In the competition, Kohana Sharma, a student of Ritika Performing Art Society, Chandigarh, secured second place in the junior category by giving a brilliant performance, while Mishka Sharma also received the consolation prize for her excellent performance .
According to the organization, the two students' achievements were aided by the special guidance of their mentor, Abhishek Gangani . During the competition, he guided the students through tabla and padhant. Dheeraj Verma, on the other hand , added to the impressive performances by providing vocal and lehra accompaniment.Expressing his delight at this achievement, Pannalal Gangani, President of the Ritika Performing Arts Society and senior guru , congratulated both students. He said that this success is the result of the students' hard work, dedication, and the guidance of their teachers. He expressed confidence that both students will bring glory to Chandigarh and the country by showcasing their talent on national and international platforms in the future.
