Request for re-hearing in Janta Darbar for implementation of HKRN policy for employment security of outsourcing employees. Chandigarh 28 June ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : GMCH New Contractor Workers Union, Sector-32 Chandigarh has made a written request to His Excellency the Administrator, Chandigarh UT for a fresh hearing in the Janta Darbar. Press Secretary of the Union, Vikram Singh informed that on 20-08-2025, in the Janta Darbar, a proposal was placed before His Excellency the Administrator to implement a secure employment policy like the Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam (HKRN) model of the Haryana Government for the benefit of all outsourcing employees of GMCH Chandigarh. Adopting this policy will save the Chandigarh Administration crores of rupees annually in the form of a 3.85% monthly commission paid to service providers for inexperienced work, and increase the administration's revenue. Inauguration of Pulse Polio Campaign at Sector 24, Chandigarh

Chandigarh 28 June ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) :The Health Department, Chandigarh Administration, organized a Pulse Polio Campaign, which was inaugurated at Sector 24, Chandigarh. Sh. Ravinder Singh Billa, Chairman, Market Welfare Association, Sector 24, along with Avnish Bansal, President Market Welfare Association, Sector 24 and Dr.Suriti (A.M.O.), ANM and Sector Supervisor Babita, Sector 24, formally inaugurated the campaign.

A Pulse Polio Camp was set up at AAM AYUSH, Sector 24/B, Chandigarh, where children were vaccinated. Vaccination booths were also arranged at three other different locations in Sector 24, Chandigarh. Vaccination carrier boxes were distributed for use at various booths to ensure the immunization drive's smooth and effective implementation.
The dignitaries appreciated the Health Department's initiative and lauded its continuous efforts toward polio eradication. They emphasized the importance of collective participation in making India Polio-free and encouraged the public to actively support the campaign.
