Chandigarh 13 July ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : State President of Punjab Subordinate Services Federation (1406, 22B) Satish Rana, General Secretary Tirth Singh Bassi and Finance Secretary Gurdeep Singh Bajwa issued a press statement and said that their federation is fully supporting the strike of cleaning workers in Punjab since July 8 and is also participating in the actions being taken by the striking cleaning workers during the strike. The leaders said that the strike is being opposed by some persons using the name of our federation, which we completely deny and want to state that these anti-strike persons have no connection with our federation.
Continuing the press statement, the said leaders said that while we appeal to the common people of Punjab to support this strike, we also appeal to all sanitation workers that these sanitation workers who are on strike since July 8 for their rightful and legitimate demands should also join their strike so that the demands of the Punjab government and the management of the local body department can be celebrated through massive unity and common solutions.
