Sony Launches True RGB LED TVs
Chandigarh 20 July ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Sony, expanding its television segment, has launched a 55- to 85-inch True RGB TV series. The launch took place at X Inc., the oldest and largest Sony Center in Sector 8, SCO 147-148, in Chandigarh, in the presence of Sony officials and the public. Sony's 55- to 85-inch True RGB TVs will create a cinema-like experience at home. Branch Manager Ashwini Chaudhary explained that Sony has launched a premium model of its True RGB TV series, designed to deliver a big-screen, theater-like home entertainment experience. This TV features Sony's advanced XR AI processor, which uses artificial and cognitive intelligence to process content and signals in a natural and human-like manner, ensuring that viewers perceive each frame as realistic. XR Backlight Master Drive technology combines thousands of independent LEDs with precision dimming algorithms, resulting in ultra-bright highlights and deep blacks, delivering enhanced contrast and detailed dynamic range.
The first-of-its-kind True RGB TV supports Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, along with DTS:X and IMAX Enhanced. Sony True RGB LED TVs are priced in India starting from ₹195,000 to ₹493,000, and are available across all official Sony stores (Sony Center and Sony Exclusive), ShopatSC.com, major electronics outlets, and leading e-commerce platforms. The company is also offering offers at launch, including a three-year full warranty, cashback of up to ₹20,000 on select credit cards, and fixed EMIs starting at ₹10,000 per month. Additionally, the 3D spatial sound claims to provide a cinema-like experience at home.
