Women’s Cricket to Get a Boost; Promising UTCA Players to Receive TenXU Cricket Shoes
Chandigarh 13 July ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : In a bid to encourage women’s cricket and support emerging talent, TenXU will organise a special felicitation ceremony in Mohali on July 15. During the event, promising women cricketers from the Union Territory Cricket Association (UTCA) will be honoured with TenXU Cricket Shoes in recognition of their dedication, hard work and achievements. According to the organisers, the initiative is aimed not only at recognising the players’ performances but also at creating awareness about the importance of choosing the right cricket footwear. Experts will guide the women cricketers on how appropriate cricket shoes can significantly improve footwork, agility, balance and overall performance, while also reducing the risk of injuries on the field.
Senior officials of the Union Territory Cricket Association (UTCA) will also be present at the ceremony. Sanjay Tandon, Founder President of UTCA and a member of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) Governing Council, will attend the event as the Chief Guest. The organisers said that such initiatives help boost the confidence of women cricketers and motivate them to excel by providing access to better sporting equipment and support.
The felicitation ceremony will be held on Wednesday, July 15, at 11:00 a.m. at Cricketer Shop, Plot No. 1700-C, Industrial Area, Sector 82, JLPL Industrial Area, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar (Mohali). A high tea will follow the event.
