Warring supports demand for parole to Hawara Pays homage to Radhey Shyam Malhotra Says, Congress has always been at forefront to defend nation Ludhiana 24 August ( PDL ) : Punjab Congress president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring today favoured the demand for parole to Jagtar Singh Hawara, saying parole is a legal right. Replying to a question during an informal conversation with reporters after paying homage to late Radhey Shyam Malhotra on his martyrdom anniversary here today, the PCC president said that there was nothing wrong if Hawara was granted parole. Paying tributes to Malhotra, who was gunned down by militants 39 years ago, the PCC president said that the Congress had made immense sacrifices in the fight against terrorism in Punjab. He said the Congress also guarded and protected the unity and harmony in Punjab which was threatened by divisive forces.
