ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪ੍ਰਦੂਸ਼ਣ ਕੰਟਰੋਲ ਬੋਰਡ ਸੀਵਰੇਜ ਦਾ ਗੰਦਲਾ ਪਾਣੀ ਸਰਹਿੰਦ ਨਹਿਰ ਵਿਚ ਪਾਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਰੋਕਣ ਲਈ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰੇ : ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਰੂਪਨਗਰ ਦੇ ਮਿਉਂਸਪਲ ਸੀਵਰੇਜ ਸਿਸਟਮ, ਐਸ ਟੀ ਪੀ, ਆਊਟਲੈਟ ਤੇ ਗੈਰ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਡਿਸਚਾਰਜ ਪੁਆਇੰਟਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਰੀਖਣ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਗੰਧਲਾ ਪਾਣੀ ਪਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਹੋਵੇ: ਡਾ. ਦਲਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਚੀਮਾ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ 31 ਅਗਸਤ ( ਰਣਜੀਤ ਧਾਲੀਵਾਲ ) : ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪ੍ਰਦੂਸ਼ਣ ਕੰਟਰੋਲ ਬੋਰਡ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਰੋਪੜ ਵਿਚ ਸੀਵਰੇਜ ਦਾ ਗੰਦਾ ਪਾਣੀ ਸਰਹਿੰਦ ਨਹਿਰ ਵਿਚ ਪਾਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਰੋਕਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪ੍ਰਦੂਸ਼ਣ ਕੰਟਰੋਲ ਬੋਰਡ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਇਕ ਮੰਗ ਪੱਤਰ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਦੇ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਆਗੂ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਡਾ. ਦਲਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਚੀਮਾ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਰੂਪਨਗਰ ਮਿਉਂਸਪਲ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਦੇ ਸੀਵਰੇਜ ਸਿਸਟਮ, ਐਸ ਟੀ ਪੀ, ਆਊਟਲੈਟਾਂ ਤੇ ਗੈਰ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਡਿਸਚਾਰਜ ਪੁਆਇੰਟਾਂ ਦਾ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਨਿਰੀਖਣ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਗੈਰ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਪ੍ਰਦੂਸ਼ਣ ਲਈ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਨਾਖ਼ਤ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਲੰਘਣਾ ਲਈ ਬਣਦੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੰਗ ਪੱਤਰ ਵਿਚ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜਿਥੇ ਕਿਤੇ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੋਵੇ, ਉਥੇ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਣ ਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਦਾ ਜਾਇਜ਼ਾ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਣ ਦੇ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਲਈ ਜ਼ੁਰਮਾਨ...

One-Day Delay Saved Lives: A Close Brush with Death During Kailash Yatra Chandigarh 31 August ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : For Sector 19 resident and Chartered Accountant Rachit Goyal, the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra became an experience he says he will never forget. Travelling with around 20 friends to the sacred abode of Lord Shiva, the group encountered a situation that ultimately changed the entire meaning of their pilgrimage. During the journey, one of their companions suddenly fell ill. He developed breathing difficulties at the high altitude and was unable to continue. Considering his condition, the group decided to postpone their climb towards Mount Kailash by one day. They later learnt that a major incident had taken place in Nepal on the very day they had delayed their climb. According to Goyal, had the group proceeded according to the original schedule, the situation could have been extremely serious.
