Strongly condemns the transfer of Sukhchain Singh Khaira from the Secretariat, Chief Minister should abandon the policy of confrontation and take the path of dialogue - Joint Coordination Committee

Chandigarh 31 August ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) :The leaders of the Joint Coordination Committee, which was formed based on the Punjab Employees and Pensioners Joint Front and the Anjjan Employees Forum, strongly condemned the illegal transfer of Sukhchain Singh Khaira, a prominent leader of the Joint Coordination Committee, out of a sense of revenge. The prominent leaders of the Joint Coordination Committee are Mr. Satish Rana, Gurnam Singh Virk, Ranjit Singh Ranwa, Sushil Kumar Fauji, Karam Singh Dhanoa, Harjinder Singh Pannu, Germanjit Singh, Manpreet Singh, Rakesh Kumar, Bhajan Singh Gill, NK Kalsi, Manjit Singh Basarke, Tarsem Singh Bhattal, Kulwinder Singh Dhillon, Sukhdev Singh Saini, Gursharan Singh Hundal, Gagandeep Singh Bhullar, Didar Singh Chokar, Amrik Singh Kang, Dilpreet Singh, Digvijay Pal Sharma, Harnek Singh, Avtar Singh Kaith, Raghveer Singh Badwal, Jagdish Singh Chahal, Radhe Sham, Jasvir Singh Talwara, Karamjit Singh Bihla and Bobinder Singh issued a joint press statement saying that in a spirit of revenge, the Punjab Chief Minister has shifted the secretariat of Punjab Civil Secretariat Joint Action Committee, Joint Employees Forum, Punjab Chief Coordinator and Joint Coordination Committee President and prominent leader Sukhchain Singh Khaira from Sector 1, Chandigarh to Sector 33, Chandigarh.

The leaders said that this is the reason for the Chief Minister's blunder which is not in the right direction. On one hand, the Chief Minister and his administrative officers talk about holding a meeting with the Joint Coordination Committee and on the other hand, they are taking action with a sense of revenge. Earlier, administrative officials had issued show cause notes to employees who went on mass leave on August 27 and are now starting the process of transfers. The leaders said that the employee leaders are not afraid of these shameful actions of the government, which will further intensify the anger of Punjab's employees and pensioners towards the government.Continuing their press statement, the leaders of the Joint Coordination Committee said that the grand rally held in Chandigarh on August 7, in which more than 2 lakh employees and pensioners participated, Under the pressure of the rally, the Joint Coordination Committee was given a meeting time of 27th August at Punjab Bhawan, Chandigarh, which was later changed to PAP Jalandhar and the Chief Minister of Punjab had run away from holding the meeting from there too.The leaders said that the Joint Coordination Committee held its meeting in Ludhiana yesterday, August 30, and announced the next actions.
