Shri Pundrik Goswami’s Bhagwat Katha to Begin in Chandigarh from April 12
Chandigarh 08 April ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The Barsana Prakat Utsav Shri Radha Ras Bhagwat Katha, narrated by renowned spiritual orator Shri Pundrik Goswami, is set to commence from April 12 at the Circus Ground, Sector 17, near the Fire Station, Chandigarh. The seven-day spiritual event will continue till April 18 and will be held daily from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Entry will be free for all devotees. The Katha is being organized with devotion by Gauri Shankar Sevadal Gaushala, Sector 45 Chandigarh, Tejaswini Foundation Panchkula, and Tress Lounge, with participation from various social and religious organizations across the Tricity.
Addressing a press conference held at Gaushala, Sector 45, Chandigarh, Harsh Sharma, Founder, Tejaswini Foundation, shared that this will be the first time Shri Pundrik Goswami will deliver Katha in Chandigarh. She emphasized that the event aims to guide youth away from substance abuse and connect them with spirituality and cultural values. “Our aim is to inspire positive transformation in society through devotion,” she said.Vinod Sharma from Gauri Shankar Sevadal Gaushala highlighted initiatives such as “One Family, One Cow” and “One Family, One Plant,” encouraging people to contribute towards gaushalas, plantation, and environmental conservation. Munish Bajaj, Founder, Tress Lounge, stated that the event is being organized on a grand scale to provide a deeply spiritual experience to devotees. Rahul Mahajan also stressed the importance of environmental awareness and collective responsibility.
A Kalash Yatra with 251 Kalash will be organized, and around 25,000 devotees are expected to attend the Katha. A special Bhajan Sandhya by Tejaswini Sharma will be held on April 16. Children from Nimai Pathshala will actively participate in the event, promoting spiritual education and cultural values among the younger generation.
