S.A.S.Nagar May 25 (Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal): A big revelation was made regarding the Municipal Corporation elections being held in S. A.S. Nagar Mohali. Prominent social worker Balwinder Singh Kumbha while showing the lists of unconstitutional fake votes made in a press conference said that these votes do not have any house number nor any photo of that person, only the resident of village Kumbha has been written and the votes have been prepared. Whereas the Honorable High Court had issued orders CWP-2608-2026(O&M)/ 31.01.2026 that the fake votes should be corrected immediately.
Speaking about this today in the press conference, President Kumbha said that the administration officials have understood the orders of the Honorable High Court and the fake votes made have not been cut till date. Of which he also showed copies in front of the press. He further said that if any untoward incident occurs during the election process regarding these fake votes, then the Deputy Commissioner Mohali, SSP Mohali, SDM Mohali and the concerned officials will be directly responsible for it. Balwinder Singh Manakpur Color, senior leaders of SC BC Morcha Simranjit Singh Shanky, Sukhdev Singh, Hardeep Singh, Bachan Singh Kumbhra, President Jasmer Singh, Palwinder Singh Pali etc. were present on this occasion.
