ਭਿਆਨਕ ਗਰਮੀ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਰ; Heatwave ਕਾਰਨ ਸਿਰਫ਼ 3 ਦਿਨਾਂ ‘ਚ 1,000 ਤੋਂ ਵਧੇਰੇ ਮੌਤਾਂ
ਪੈਰਿਸ 29 ਜੂਨ ( ਪੀ ਡੀ ਐਲ ) : ਯੂਰਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਸਮਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਰਸ ਰਹੀ ਅੱਗ ਹੁਣ ਜਾਨਲੇਵਾ ਸਾਬਤ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਫਰਾਂਸ ਦੀ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਜਨਤਕ ਸਿਹਤ ਏਜੰਸੀ ਨੇ ਐਤਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ, ਪਿਛਲੇ ਹਫ਼ਤੇ ਆਈ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਲੂ (Heatwave) ਦੇ ਸਿਖਰ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਫਰਾਂਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਤੋੜ ਗਰਮੀ ਕਾਰਨ ਲਗਭਗ 1,000 ਵਾਧੂ ਮੌਤਾਂ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ।
ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਇਸ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਗਰਮੀ ਦਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਮਾਰੂ ਅਸਰ ਪੈਰਿਸ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਦੇ ਇਲਾਕਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੇਖਣ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਪੈਰਿਸ ਖੇਤਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕੱਲੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗਾਂ ਨੇ ਗਰਮੀ ਦੇ ਕਹਿਰ ਕਾਰਨ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਦਮ ਤੋੜ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਸਿਹਤ ਏਜੰਸੀ ਨੇ ਖ਼ਦਸ਼ਾ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਇਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਅੰਕੜਾ ਅਜੇ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਵੱਧ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਰਿਹਾਇਸ਼ੀ ਕੇਅਰ ਸੈਂਟਰਾਂ (Care Centers) ਅਤੇ ਦੂਰ-ਦੁਰਾਡੇ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਮੌਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਹੀ ਅੰਕੜੇ ਆਉਣੇ ਅਜੇ ਬਾਕੀ ਹਨ। ਗਰਮੀ ਦਾ ਇਹ ਪੱਧਰ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਸਰੀਰ ਲਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਖ਼ਤਰਨਾਕ ਹੈ। ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਵਜ੍ਹਾ ਘਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਨਾ ਨਿਕਲਣ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਧ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਪਾਣੀ ਪੀਣ ਦੀ ਸਲਾਹ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਅਚਾਨਕ ਹੋਈ ਤ੍ਰਾਸਦੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਫਰਾਂਸ ਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਹਤ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹਰਕਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਆ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਹਸਪਤਾਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਐਮਰਜੈਂਸੀ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਾਈ ਅਲਰਟ ‘ਤੇ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਹਦਾਇਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਇਕੱਲੇ ਰਹਿ ਰਹੇ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਕਰਨ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਕਹਿਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ।
