S.A.S.Nagar 25 June ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : On the auspicious occasion of Nirjala Ekadashi, a Chhabil and continuous fruit distribution camp was organized at Shri Hari Sankirtan Mandir located in Phase-5, Mohali, with the support of the temple committee and devotees. Keeping in view the intense heat, cold sweet water, fruits, and prasad were distributed among passersby and devotees. The current President of the temple committee, Mahesh Chandra Manan, along with his entire team, stated that this service activity started in the morning and continued till late evening, during which a large number of people received prasad with devotion.
Apart from the temple committee, the chief priest and volunteers of the temple said that on the occasion of Nirjala Ekadashi, human service and water service hold special significance. During the event, devotees performed bhajan-kirtan and prayed for happiness and prosperity. Youths, women, and elderly people enthusiastically contributed to the event, creating a completely devotional atmosphere.
On this occasion, office bearers of the temple committee were also seen serving devotees. President Mahesh Chandra Manan stated that all activities in the temple are organized above the barriers of religion and caste, with the aim of promoting Sanatan Dharma and praying for the welfare of society as a whole, and such service activities will continue in the future as well. He also shared information about the ongoing service activities in the temple and expressed gratitude to the donors and volunteers.
