BRICS CCI, Auto Part Manufacturers Association India Sign Historic MoU to Boost Industrial Collaboration

Chandigarh 2 July ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : In a significant step towards strengthening India’s manufacturing ecosystem and fostering global business cooperation, the BRICS CCI (Business Council for Cooperation & Industry) and the Auto Part Manufacturers Association India (APMAI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during a special ceremony held in Ludhiana on Thursday.

The strategic partnership aims to create new opportunities for collaboration, innovation, trade promotion and industrial growth by bringing together businesses, manufacturers and stakeholders from across sectors. The agreement is expected to facilitate knowledge exchange, international networking, investment opportunities and market access for India’s auto component industry through the BRICS platform.

Addressing the gathering, representatives of both organisations including Deepak Shukla President BRICS Chandigarh and Gurpreet singh Kahlon president APMA described the MoU as a milestone that will strengthen industry partnerships and enhance the global competitiveness of Indian manufacturers. They emphasised that the collaboration would support MSMEs, promote technology adoption and encourage sustainable industrial development.

Industry leaders, entrepreneurs and members of both organisations attended the ceremony and welcomed the initiative, calling it a forward-looking partnership that aligns with India’s vision of becoming a global manufacturing hub.The event concluded with a commitment from both organisations to work closely on joint programmes, business delegations, capacity-building initiatives and international trade engagements under the framework of the newly signed agreement.
