Satsang, Sewa and Simran Are the Three Strong Pillars of Spiritual Life

Satsang, Sewa and Simran Are the Three Strong Pillars of Spiritual Life

Chandigarh 5 July ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : A grand Nirankari Mahila Sant Samagam was held at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Sector 30, Chandigarh, in an atmosphere filled with devotion, reverence, and spiritual joy. On this occasion, respected Central Prcharika Bhen Geeta Chandna from Yamunanagar enlightened the congregation with her inspiring discourse, offering practical guidance for leading a spiritually awakened, harmonious family and social life.

In her address, Bhen Geeta Chandna said that a woman is the foundation of both the family and society. Just as the strength of a building depends upon its foundation, the values, environment, and future generations of a family are shaped by the personality and conduct of a woman. When a woman embodies love, gentleness, patience, tolerance, and spirituality, her entire family naturally becomes a centre of peace, harmony, and affection.
Referring to an inspiring incident shared by Satguru Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj, she explained that just as cool milk does not curdle immediately even when lemon juice is added, a person with calm and composed nature remains unaffected by adverse situations and harsh behavior. She emphasized that true strength in life lies not in anger but in calmness, patience, humility, and emotional balance.
She further explained that just as the body requires nutritious food, adequate rest, and regular exercise to remain healthy, the soul also requires Satsang, Simran, and Sewa for its nourishment. Satsang is the food for the soul, Simran is its rest, and Sewa is its exercise. The regular practice of these three strengthens humility, inner balance, spiritual strength, and one's connection with God. Stressing the importance of attending Satsang regularly, she said that every Satsang purifies the inner self and becomes the foundation for positive transformation in life.
Speaking on Sewa, she said that selfless service should always be performed without any expectation of personal gain or recognition. If service is motivated by selfish desires or personal benefit, its spiritual significance is lost. True Sawa is inspired solely by love and complete surrender. She encouraged everyone to maintain unwavering faith in Nirankar under all circumstances, stay away from criticism and gossip, and express every concern of the heart only through prayer to the Almighty. Such an attitude keeps the mind light, peaceful, and positive.
She further illustrated that just as a pencil cannot write on its own but is guided by the hand that holds it, similarly, every individual should always remember that the true doer is only Nirankar, the Formless God. In her concluding remarks, she urged everyone to align their thoughts, words, and actions with Divine Knowledge, remain content in the Divine Will at all times, and spread the message of humanity, universal brotherhood, love, Sewa, Simran, and Satsang throughout society.

Earlier, the Zonal Incharge of Chandigarh Zone, O.P. Nirankari, warmly welcomed and expressed gratitude to respected Bhen Geeta Chandna on behalf of the entire congregation. On this occasion, several speakers from Chandigarh Zone presented devotional songs, poems, qawwalis, skits, and speeches, expressing how the teachings being impacted by Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj have brought peace, joy, and positive transformation into their lives.
