When we asked about my daughter in the police station, the missing girl who went with me (whom this same Mandeep Kaur had sold earlier and her parents had mortgaged their land and got her released by paying one and a half lakh rupees) and her mother were slapped by the ladies police and said very bad things.

She said that suddenly my missing girl got a call from my daughter Anjali. She told that Mandeep Kaur had sold me to some people. I am now sitting in Rajasthan, these people are beating me, save me quickly - save me, the phone was disconnected. The woman got emotional and said that her husband had died before my daughter was born, my daughter Anjali was the only support for me to live. But the eight phase police did not provide me any justice.

She warned the Phase Eight police that if the friend who sold the victim's daughter Anjali is not arrested within a week and Anjali is not reunited with her mother, then a big struggle will be waged in the coming days and this police station will be surrounded. The list of victim families from this police station has now become very long. He said that after the arrest of Mandeep Kaur, many more revelations are likely to be made. It is also being suspected that how many more girls from Punjab may have been sold.
