Amit Shah Should Resolve to Eradicate Chitta, Unemployment and Gangsterism on Dussehra : Amlan Biswas
BRP National President urges Union Home Minister to free Punjab from drugs, unemployment and gangster terror during his Ludhiana visit
Chandigarh 19 October ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Amlan Biswas, National President of the Bharatiya Rashtrawadi Party (BRP), has appealed to Union Home Minister Amit Shah to resolve to eliminate not only the menace of chitta (heroin) but also unemployment and gangsterism in Punjab during his visit to Ludhiana. Biswas said Dussehra symbolises the victory of good over evil. On this occasion, freeing Punjab from drugs, unemployment and gangster terror should also be a major priority. He said the spread of chitta was damaging the future of the state’s youth, while unemployment and gangsterism were adding to the state’s social and law-and-order challenges.
The BRP president emphasised that alongside action against drugs, it was equally important to create employment opportunities for young people and take effective action against gangster networks. He urged the Central Government to take concrete steps to curb drug abuse, generate employment and strengthen law and order in Punjab.
Biswas said that resolving to eliminate evils such as chitta, unemployment and gangsterism on the occasion of Dussehra would be a meaningful step towards ensuring a safer and brighter future for Punjab’s youth.
