Krishna-Rukmini Wedding Episode Enchants Devotees at Shrimad Bhagwat Katha

Devotees shower flowers on the captivating Krishna-Rukmini tableau and dance to devotional bhajans till evening

S.A.S.Nagar 3 October ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The ongoing Shrimad Bhagwat Katha at Shri Sanatan Dharam Mandir, Phase 4 witnessed a spiritually uplifting presentation of the wedding episode of Lord Krishna and Rukmini Ji. A captivating tableau depicting Lord Krishna and Rukmini Ji was brought into the Katha pandal, leaving devotees overwhelmed with devotion. As the tableau entered the Katha hall, devotees welcomed it with great enthusiasm and showered flowers as an expression of their श्रद्धा and devotion. Swami Dhanwantri Das Ji Maharaj, who has come from Vrindavan, narrated the wedding episode of Lord Krishna and Rukmini Ji in an emotional and devotional manner. He described various divine episodes associated with Lord Krishna and highlighted Rukmini Ji’s unwavering devotion towards Lord Krishna, explaining the spiritual significance of the episode to the devotees.

Devotional bhajans presented by Swami Dhanwantri Das Ji Maharaj and his team created a highly spiritual atmosphere in the Katha pandal. As the Krishna-Rukmini tableau arrived, devotees became immersed in devotion. They danced, sang and clapped along with the bhajans while praising Lord Krishna. The atmosphere remained filled with devotion and enthusiasm till evening. During the Krishna-Rukmini wedding episode, devotees showered flowers on the tableau and expressed their devotion. The entire Katha hall reverberated with chants of “Jai Shri Krishna,” “Radhe-Radhe” and other devotional slogans. A large number of devotees were seen dancing and singing in devotion.

The Peepat family performed the role of Yajman for the day’s religious programme. The family participated in the religious rituals with devotion. A Bhandara was also organised by the Peepat family after the Katha, where a large number of devotees received Prasad. The office-bearers and members of the Shri Sanatan Dharam Mandir Phase 4 Temple Committee played an important role in making the religious programme successful. Temple Committee President Deshraj Gupta, Co-Vice President Raj Kumar Kalia, Vice President Satish Kumar, General Secretary Raj Kumar Sharma, Cashier Rakesh Kumar Gupta, Anshul Bansal and Sanjeev Sharma alias Bobby, along with other members, extended their cooperation in the arrangements.

Members of the Mahila Mandal, including President Dinesh Chandan, Indira Rani, Pushpa Sharma, Rajkumari, Shashi, Neelam and Archana, also rendered their services enthusiastically. The Mahila Mandal members assisted in the distribution of Prasad and other arrangements for devotees. Chief Priest Lucky Sharma, along with other priests, also contributed to the religious arrangements. Members of the Temple Committee, Mahila Mandal and other volunteers rendered their services with devotion. A large number of devotees are attending the ongoing Shrimad Bhagwat Katha at Shri Sanatan Dharam Mandir, Phase 4, every day and listening to the spiritual discourses of Swami Dhanwantri Das Ji Maharaj, gaining spiritual inspiration from the divine leelas and teachings of Lord Krishna.
