In a letter to the home minister, the Bathinda MP highlighted how the slain anti- drug crusader’s father – Bhim Singh had given a statement to the police which was not being acted upon and demanded that all facets of the bereaved father’s statement be probed by the CBI. Chandigarh 19 October ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The Shri Ram Sewak Yuva Kala Manch’s Ramlila in Sector 48 is witnessing an overwhelming response, with large crowds gathering every day to watch the performances. The growing audience turnout has prompted the organisers to expand seating arrangements to accommodate visitors. Senior BJP leader and Additional Solicitor General of India Satyapal Jain, along with Chandigarh Mayor Devesh Modgil, attended the event.
During the programme, Jain presented a mixer grinder to the winner of the Ramlila’s bumper prize draw, encouraging the initiative. The organisers are offering 16 prizes every day, adding an element of excitement for the audience alongside the enactment of episodes from the Ramayana.
