Now in Ludhiana: Free Liver Screening Every ThursdayLudhiana 28 February ( PDL ) : Poor lifestyle choices, junk food, processed food, and lack of exercise are contributing to the rising cases of fatty liver disease. Among these, cases of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) are also increasing. According to Dr. Nitin Shankar Bahl, Director of the Institute of Gastro and Liver Diseases, 30% of total liver patients suffer from NAFLD. Early detection through liver screening can help in timely intervention and treatment.
