S.A.S. Nagar 29 March ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Patwari-Shahi Group has registered a unilateral victory in the election of the governing body of Mohali Press Club for the year 2025-26. In this election, which was held under the chairmanship of Chief Election Commissioner Harinder Pal Singh Harry and Election Commissioners Kulwinder Singh Bawa and Amardeep Singh Saini, voting for the post of General Secretary was completed from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm today. At around 2.30 pm, the Chief Election Commissioner announced the election results, in which a total of 98 members used their votes. During this, Gurmeet Singh Shahi of Patwari-Shahi Group got 77 votes and Tilak Raj got 19 votes, while two votes were rejected. In this way, Gurmeet Singh Shahi won a big victory for the post of General Secretary. Meanwhile, the Chief Election Commissioner and Election Commissioners declared the new body of 9 office bearers of the Patwari-Shahi Group panel - President Sukhdev Singh Patwari, General Secretary Gurmeet Singh Shahi, C.
