Langar Seva Organised on Shaheedi Dihara, A Noble Initiative by Social Workers

Chandigarh 27 December ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : On the sacred occasion of Shaheedi Dihara, a Langar Seva is being organised with the message of service, dedication, and brotherhood in society. The service programme will commence on 27 December 2025 from 9:00 AM onwards. The venue has been fixed Main Road, Sector 33–45 Dividing Chandigarh

This noble initiative is being organised under the leadership of social workers Rajeev Mittal and Lucky Singh, who have been actively involved in social and religious services for a long time. They stated that Shaheedi Dihara reminds us of the great martyrs who sacrificed their lives for humanity, faith, and justice. Paying tribute to their sacrifices through Langar Seva is the primary objective of this programme.

Langar Seva is a proud tradition of Sikhism, symbolising equality, where people from all walks of life sit together and partake in food without any discrimination. This event conveys a strong message of social harmony, equality, and mutual brotherhood. The organisers have appealed to all members of the Sangat and local residents to grace the occasion with their esteemed presence, contribute to the success of this service, and pay homage to the revered martyrs.
