Chandigarh 20 June ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) today said attempts by the ruling Aam Admi Party (AAP) to spread a false narrative regarding Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s deposition at Sri Akal Takht Sahib and its attempt to stage dharnas against the Shiromani Akali Dal had boomeranged. Addressing a press conference here, SAD Chief Spokesman Arshdeep Singh Kler said AAP had attempted to gherao and stage protest at district headquarters of the SAD but its attempts failed miserably as they could not muster support of requisite numbers despite help from the police force. He said the videos emerging from different districts of the state had made it clear that only a meagre number of AAP workers assembled on the call of the party making the entire attempt a flop show. Chandigarh 31 December ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : On the occasion of New Year, social worker and entrepreneur M.K. Bhatia celebrated the beginning of 2026 with a special gathering alongside his young colleagues. Addressing the team—especially the youth and women members—Bhatia said, “The coming era belongs to the youth and women. Young minds and women-led leadership will play a major role in India’s economic growth, nation-building, and social transformation.”
He further added that his organisation and group will be launching several initiatives focused on providing opportunities for youth, skill development, and entrepreneurship, while also ensuring a safe, respectful, and empowering work environment for women, encouraging them to take leadership roles. The New Year celebration witnessed employees cutting a cake, exchanging wishes, and taking collective pledges to work with renewed energy and team spirit toward new goals in the year ahead.
