Demonstrating this progress, Paras Health Panchkula has successfully performed a neuronavigation-guided brain tumor surgery on a patient with a tumor located in an eloquent area of the brain—regions responsible for vital functions such as speech, movement, and sensation.

The complex procedure was led by Dr. Gaurav Sharma, Senior Consultant – Neurosurgery, and was completed with high precision. The patient is recovering well and has shown no post-operative neurological complications, marking a significant milestone for advanced neurosurgical care in the region.

Tumors located in eloquent areas of the brain pose a major surgical challenge, as even a minor deviation during surgery can result in permanent neurological damage.
