Author Aditya Kant Decodes the Art of Horror at Bahrisons Book Signing
Chandigarh 7 March ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Senior journalist and author Aditya Kant engaged with readers today during a vibrant book signing event for his latest work, Ghosts, Horror and Hills, at Bahrisons Booksellers. Following the success of his acclaimed crime thriller High on Kasol, Kant’s latest foray into the supernatural has sparked significant interest among fans of atmospheric fiction. During an interactive session dominated by young readers, Kant was asked how he makes his spectral tales feel so authentic. Drawing on three decades of experience in mainstream media, Kant emphasized that his journalistic roots are the secret to his fictional world-building.
“The devil literally lies in detailing,” said Kant. “You may have an exciting idea and a compelling plot, but if you fail to provide minute details in your scenes, the story will not feel real. That is where a background in journalism—rooted in keen observation and patient research—becomes invaluable.” A number of senior journalists and from across the tricity also visited the venue and congratulated Kant for his new book. Ghosts, Horror and Hills was officially launched for Maharashtra earlier this year by Governor Acharya Dev Vrat at Lok Bhawan in Mumbai. Following an overwhelming response from critics and readers alike, Kant announced plans to bring the book to Shimla later this month.
The author expressed his gratitude to Vitasta Publishing for championing his work and thanked Bahrisons for their role in fostering literary communities.
