Balbir Singh Sidhu Slams Punjab Government Over Power Crisis and Failure to Supply Canal Water to Tail-End Areas Punjab Government Must Immediately Resolve the Problems of Farmers and the General Public : Balbir Singh Sidhu S.A.S.Nagar 30 June ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Former Punjab Health Minister and senior Congress leader Balbir Singh Sidhu launched a sharp attack on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government over the severe power and irrigation crisis in the state, alleging that its false claims and administrative failures have pushed farmers and ordinary citizens into extreme hardship. He said that during the crucial paddy transplantation season, farmers are receiving neither adequate canal water nor sufficient electricity, putting thousands of acres of crops at risk of drying up. Sidhu stated that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has repeatedly claimed that canal water has been ensured up to the tail-end areas of the irrigation network. ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਦੀ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਮੰਗ ਪਹੁੰਚੀ 461 ਮੈਗਾਵਾਟ; ਸੀਪੀਡੀਐਲ ਨੇ ਨਿਰੰਤਰ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਬਣਾਈ ਯਕੀਨੀਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ 30 ਜੂਨ ( ਰਣਜੀਤ ਧਾਲੀਵਾਲ ) : ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਪਾਵਰ ਡਿਸਟ੍ਰੀਬਿਊਸ਼ਨ ਲਿਮਿਟੇਡ (ਸੀਪੀਡੀਐਲ) ਨੇ ਇਸ ਸਾਲ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ 461 ਮੈਗਾਵਾਟ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਮੰਗ ਨੂੰ ਸਫਲਤਾਪੂਰਵਕ ਪੂਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਗਰਮੀ ਦੇ ਤਾਪਮਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਵਾਧੇ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਦੀ ਚੋਟੀ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਅੰਕੜੇ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਉੱਪਰ ਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾ ਹੈ। ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਪੈ ਰਹੀ ਗਰਮੀ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਦੀ ਵੱਧ ਰਹੀ ਖਪਤ ਦੇ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ, ਸੀਪੀਡੀਐਲ ਨੇ ਅਗਾਊਂ ਯੋਜਨਾਬੰਦੀ, ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਸਿਸਟਮ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਨ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਪੂਰੇ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਰੋਸੇਯੋਗ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਰਵਿਘਨ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਬਣਾਈ ਰੱਖੀ ਹੈ। ਗਰਮੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਉੱਚ ਮੰਗ ਵਾਲੇ ਮੌਸਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਨੇ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਣਵੱਤਾ ਵਾਲੀ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਸੰਚਾਲਕੀ ਕੁਸ਼ਲਤਾ 'ਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਧਿਆਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਵੱਧ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਮੰਗ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਨਿਰਵਿਘਨ ਸੰਚਾਲਨ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਸੀਪੀਡੀਐਲ ਨੇ ਟ੍ਰਾਂਸਫਾਰਮਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਫੀਡਰਾਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਮੁੱਖ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਵੰਡ ਸੰਪਤੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਰੋਕਥਾਮੀ ਰੱਖ-ਰਖਾਅ (Preventive Maintenance) ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਤਕਨੀਕੀ ਖਰਾਬੀ ਜਾਂ ਉਪਭੋਗਤਾ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ਦਾ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਨਿਪਟਾਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੁਕਾਵਟ ਨੂੰ ਘੱਟ ਤੋਂ ਘੱਟ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਸੰਚਾਲਨ ਅਤੇ ਰੱਖ-ਰਖਾਅ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਟੀਮਾਂ 24 ਘੰਟੇ ਤਾਇਨਾਤ ਹਨ। ਗਰਮੀਆਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਵਾਧੇ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਸੀਪੀਡੀਐਲ ਨੇ ਉਪਭੋਗਤਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਦੀ ਸਮਝਦਾਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਊਰਜਾ-ਕੁਸ਼ਲ (Energy Efficient) ਉਪਕਰਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਪਣਾਉਣ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਗਰਿੱਡ ਦੀ ਸਥਿਰਤਾ ਬਣਾਈ ਰੱਖਣ ਅਤੇ ਕੁੱਲ ਊਰਜਾ ਖਪਤ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਹਤਰ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਮਿਲ ਸਕੇ।
ਸੀਪੀਡੀਐਲ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ, ਕੁਸ਼ਲ, ਭਰੋਸੇਯੋਗ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਚ ਗੁਣਵੱਤਾ ਵਾਲੀ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੀ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਵੰਡ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਅਤੇ ਲਚਕੀਲਾ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਵਚਨਬੱਧ ਹੈ।
