Ladi Creates Fresh Trouble for Malhotra: Complaint Filed on Chandigarh Police ICMS Portal Over Hurting Sentiments
BJP’s Local President Will Have to Pay the Price for Calling Hardworking Punjabis “Emotional Bloody Fools” : Ladi
Chandigarh 20 June ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Despite apologizing for his controversial remark referring to Punjabis as “Emotional Bloody Fools,” the troubles of local BJP President Jatinder Pal Malhotra do not appear to be ending. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) councillor Jasbir Singh Ladi has lodged an online complaint through the Integrated Complaint Management System (ICMS) of Chandigarh Police, alleging that Malhotra’s statement has hurt his sentiments.
According to the complaint receipt, Jasbir Singh Ladi submitted the complaint online today. The complaint has been registered under reference number ICMS/2026/023388. In a statement issued here, Ladi said that the BJP president is now attempting to justify his “Emotional Bloody Fool” remark by portraying it as a reference to being “emotionally passionate.” However, he questioned whether Malhotra would dare use the same words for his own senior party leaders.
Ladi further stated that during the colonial era, the British often referred to Indians as “Bloody Indians,” and by Malhotra’s logic, that too would have been acceptable. He alleged that the BJP leader has insulted crores of Punjabis living across the world and cannot simply escape responsibility by issuing an apology. “Malhotra has demeaned hardworking Punjabis by calling and considering them ‘Emotional Bloody Fools.’ Such an act cannot be forgiven so easily. He will have to face the consequences of his remarks,” Ladi asserted. Ladi maintained that the statement has deeply hurt the sentiments of Punjabis and that appropriate action should be taken after the complaint is examined by the concerned authorities.
