Ward No. 41 Councilor Gurpreet Kaur Ubbha meets MLA Kulwant Singh regarding ward development issues; demands prompt resolution of basic amenity concerns

S.A.S.Nagar 30 June ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Councilor Gurpreet Kaur Ubbha, accompanied by her husband Hardev Singh Ubbha (State Press Secretary, BJP Punjab), met with Mohali MLA Kulwant Singh. They held a detailed discussion regarding key issues and development works concerning the residents of Sambhalki village, Nanu Majra village, Wave Estate (Sector 85), Preet City (Sector 86), and Sector 88—all falling under Ward No. 41.

Gurpreet Kaur Ubbha stated that residents of these areas have long been facing a lack of various basic amenities. She urged the MLA to ensure a permanent system for rainwater drainage and to provide clean canal-based drinking water throughout the area.

She also demanded improvements to sanitation and sewerage systems; regular cleaning and repair of village streets, drains, and roads; reconstruction of dilapidated roads; installation and repair of streetlights; a regular door-to-door garbage collection system; construction of new parks along with the cleaning and maintenance of existing ones; installation of traffic signals; and the provision of all other essential civic amenities across the ward on a priority basis.

Hardev Singh Ubbha stated that the legitimate demands of the people of Ward No. 41 are being consistently conveyed to the relevant departments and the government, and that every possible effort will continue to be made to provide better basic amenities to the area's residents. MLA Kulwant Singh listened to all the demands seriously and assured them that development works would be advanced on a priority basis through coordination with the concerned departments, and that every possible effort would be made to resolve the public issues of the area.
