Presented by digit.in, an initiative of Times Network, the awards recognise excellence in home appliance innovation through a data-driven evaluation process. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State for Science & Technology, Earth Sciences, PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, and Brajesh Pathak, Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.
Unlike consumer-voted popularity contests, the awards follow a rigorous lab-first evaluation process. Nominated products were tested at DIGIT’s laboratories in Mumbai and Noida against more than 150 technical parameters, covering aspects from thermal imaging diagnostics to customer support. The results were reviewed by an independent expert jury. The jury included Tarun Pathak, Research Director, Counterpoint Research; Navkendar Singh, AVP, IDC; Manas Tiwari, Technology Editor, Times Network; and senior members of DIGIT’s editorial team. Products were assessed on laboratory testing data, real-world usability and relevance of innovation to Indian consumers.
